Mariah Fernandes is a Brazilian artist, originally from Rio de Janeiro and currently based in Italy, where she studies film and animation.

In 2019, she moved to Portugal and spent a formative year traveling the world with her family. An experience that shaped her visual language and creative perspective through exposure to diverse cultures and art.

She later attended a Professional Fashion High School in Lisbon, specializing in production and coordination. During this time, she developed a multidisciplinary practice, working across accessories design, fashion editorials, and backstage production, while also cultivating a strong interest in painting and photography.

Her work is driven by a curiosity for visual storytelling, with the ambition to pursue a career as a creative director and photographer.
